What We Love About the Stamina CPS 9300:
Price
What we like best about the Stamina CPS 9300 is the price. This bike
retails around $700, but you can find it online for less than $400!
That’s unbelievable! For less than $400, you’re getting a pretty solid
bike. At over 100 lbs, with a 40 lb flywheel and a steel tube frame,
this bike is going to stand up to your workouts and outlast your $400
investment.
Computer
The Stamina CPS 9300 comes with the InTouch® Fitness Monitor. Now,
the computer is pretty basic, but the fact that there is a way to get
real time workout statistics is really good at this price point. Don’t
believe us? Take a look at the Spinner® NXT and the Bodycraft® SPX.
These bikes will run you two or three times the price of the Stamina CPS
9300, and they don’t have any computer whatsoever. The InTouch® Fitness
Monitor provides you with time, distance, speed and calories burned
readouts that can be set to scan throughout your workout.
Other Considerations:
Delivery Issues
Delivery is the biggest concern for the Stamina CPS 9300. There are a
ton of comments stating that users received bent and broken parts. Even
people who rated this bike very high stated that they had delivery
issues. It appears that Stamina just isn’t packaging their product
securely enough. Customer service appears to be very accommodating and
not an issue at all. Again, the issue seems to be packaging and care
during transport.
Parts Fit & Noises
There were a lot of comments concerning the fit of the seat and
handlebars. Both appear to have some wobble. Nothing that is going to
make you lose your balance on the bike, but there is definitely some
play in them. A lot of reviewer also comments on squeaking noises in the
bike and clunking noises in the cranks and pedals. It appears that
Stamina hasn’t finely tuned their parts for this cycle.
Final Word on the Stamina CPS 9300 Indoor Cycle:
In this price range, it is going to be tough to find a better bike
than the Stamina CPS 9300. The bike is heavy and solid and has really
good adjustability to fit just about any user. Now, it’s definitely not a
slam dunk. There does appear to be some issues, especially with
delivery. The good news is that it seems like Stamina® is used to
dealing with these issues and they are very accommodating.
