The very best thing, however, is this is a strong, durable bar. This bar is going to take abuse. I didn’t see a single review that commented on this bar flexing or not standing up to the user’s weight. You’ll have this bar for a long time.

What Isn’t So Great

There are a couple of things that aren’t so great about the Ultimate Body Press Wall Mounted Pull Up Bar. First, the clearance from the pull-up/chin-up bar is 13”; you get to 20” using the parallel grips. At this distance, you might hit the wall with your feet. So, you have two options in this case. One, perform controlled chin-ups/pull-ups, or two, mount this bar above a doorway so that you can get adequate clearance through the doorframe. The other thing that’s not so great about this bar are the bolts. A few people report that they’re on the cheap side. You want to make sure you have the Wall Mounted Pull Up Bar installed well, so make a trip to the hardware store and get some heavy-duty lag bolts.
