Heart Rate Monitoring

Sunny Health & Fitness doesn’t equip the SF-E1405 Flywheel Elliptical Trainer with any ability to track your heart rate while exercising. This is a letdown, even at this price. Tracking your heart rate allows you to train in different zones for fat burning or for cardio, which is helpful while exercising. The machine has a tension knob that applies fiction to the flywheel, similar to an indoor cycle. There are no readouts or markings on the knob to tell you what level of friction you are putting on the flywheel. So, while you can increase your intensity, it’s hard to get identical intensity from workout to workout to track your performance.
