The Weslo Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer has a lot of nice features at a very reasonable price.  The large frame keeps it grounded and secure while you’re exercising. The elliptical has everything you’ll need including 10 levels of digital resistance that can be adjusted by the push of a button, dual action arms for a full body workout and heart rate monitoring to ensure you are exercising at the right intensity. Weslo also equips the Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer with a console with a large display and pre-programmed workouts to keep you motivated and coming back for more.

Assembly for the Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer is going to take some time. Most users took between two and three hours to assemble the machine. Most said it wasn’t difficult, but it just took them a long time. The packaging comes with a fully illustrated assembly manual that will walk you through the process.

What We Love About the Weslo Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer:

Design

The rear-mounted flywheel, and 124 lb frame provide a stable and secure working platform. The elliptical motion provides a gym-like feel that you’re sure to enjoy. The oversized pedals allow just about anyone to have a comfortable stride while using the machine. While here is a limited warranty on this elliptical, Weslo is a well known manufacturer and this machine is sure to stand up to your most intense workouts.

Computer Programs

The Weslo Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer provides you with a few pre-programmed workouts, which helps break up the monotony of exercising. This will keep you engaged in the exercise and maintain your intensity throughout the workout. In this price range, there aren’t too many elliptical machines that provide a computer console with programmed workouts. If that doesn’t interest you, you can still manually set up your own workout, including tracking your heart rate through the hand-grip sensors and visual display on the monitor.

What Isn’t So Great:

Besides reports of quality issues, the biggest drawback of the Weslo Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer is the 14” stride. Though this is pretty typical of a stride length in the price range, it doesn’t make it any better. A stride this small really puts a damper on getting an intense workout because a person typical can’t get a full length stride and exert themselves. With a little research you can probably find an elliptical with a large stride near this price range, but you’ll probably need to spend a couple hundred more dollars to get up around 18-20”.

Final Word on the Weslo Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer:

The Weslo Momentum CT 6.2 Elliptical Trainer has 10 levels of resistance that can be adjusted by the push of a button and 6 programmed workouts to keep you engaged in the exercise experience. There are reports of quality issues and another issue with this elliptical is the 14” stride. But again this is pretty typical at this price point. You’ll need to up your budget if you want an elliptical with a larger stride.  Again, we recommend comparing this elliptical to the ProForm Hybrid Trainer which is a great dual trainer option.
